Scope

PREPARATORY WORK

  • Dismantling and removal from the construction site
of the pavement on the roadway and around
the abutments, including the base layer, existing protective concrete and isolation layers, weak concrete from the deck slab, protective barriers with railings, parts of cornices on the structure and abutments, expansion joints, and parts of the back walls
of the abutments.

BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION

  • Modernization of supports and load-bearing structure through repair of anti-corrosion coatings on the steel structure of the bridge, installation of new waterproofing and pavement on the entire deck including sections
on the abutments.
  • Construction of sidewalk curbs with curbstones
and installation of rigid edge barriers and handrails.
  • Comprehensive renovation of the abutments.
  • Modernization of drainage by constructing a stormwater drainage system with discharge to the river.
  • Reconstruction of expansion joints.
  • Anti-corrosion protection of bearings.
  • Repair of slope stairs and surface protection
of concrete; stabilization of slopes and embankments.

FINISHING WORKS

  • Replacement of sign fastening devices for navigation with new ones.
  • Installation of horizontal and vertical signage
on the structure.
  • Installation of 62 benchmarks.
